Buenos Aires, February 11 (NA) – Former national deputy for the Civic Coalition Elisa Carrió said goodbye to her colleague Sandra Mendoza, who passed away this morning, and remembered her as a 'dear friend'. 'It's painful to say goodbye, dear friend, you were not crazy, you were an excellent professional and a better person,' Carrió wrote on her social networks. Both former legislators, from Chaco, were members of the Chamber of Deputies and carried out their parliamentary work with different ideological positions at practically the same time: Carrió, who had already represented Chaco between 1995 and 2003, was a deputy for the city of Buenos Aires from 2009 to 2020, while Mendoza represented her home province from 2009 to 2017. Although they belonged to historically opposing political sectors such as radicalism and Peronism, and maintained a personal friendship for years.
